Legacy Four Parties is run by Legacy Four Solutions LLC, Virginia Beach, Virginia. This page says what information the service collects, what we do with it, and how to get it removed. Short version: we keep what the party needs to run, we do not sell it, and we do not see your card number.
What we collect
- Hosts: your email address and a password (stored hashed by our sign-in provider), plus the events you create: event name, date, competition setup, host PIN, and the plan you chose.
- Guests: the first name (or nickname) you type, the name of your entry if you are competing, the group you claim, and the scores you give. Guests never give us an email, phone number, or password.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details directly; we receive only a confirmation that the payment happened, the amount, and which event it upgraded.
- Traffic: we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they use. This uses cookies and collects standard technical data (device type, rough location from IP, pages viewed). It does not include guest names or scores.
- On your device: the site stores a few small things in your browser so it works smoothly: a guest's chosen name for the current event, whether a co-host has unlocked the host screen this session, and a half-finished create form so it survives sign-in. Nothing else.
What we do with it
- Run the event: show the sign-up board, deliver ballots, tally scores, and let the host manage the night.
- Sign hosts in, send receipts and password resets, and answer support email.
- Understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use guest names or scores for advertising.
Who else sees it
The people in your event see each other's names, entries, and results, which is the point of a competition. Otherwise your data lives with the services that run the site: Supabase (accounts and event data), Stripe (payments), Netlify (hosting), and Google (analytics). Each of them has its own privacy policy and only gets what it needs for its job. We share data with no one else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Event data stays so hosts can look back at past events. A host can ask us to delete an event or an entire account at any time. Guests can ask the host to remove their sign-up, or email us and we will remove it.
Children
The service is for adults hosting parties. Do not create a host account if you are under 18. Kids can be judges in a family cook-off under an adult's event, but we ask hosts not to enter children's full names.
Your choices
- Email us to see, correct, or delete anything we hold about you.
- Block or clear cookies in your browser if you do not want analytics; the site still works.
- Reset or change your host password from the sign-in page.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and let account holders know by email. Questions or requests: kosborne@legacyfoursolutions.com.
